How do I block off a coolant line?

Postby fireant on Sun Dec 14, 2008 5:33 pm

I've swapped on an Z6 intake manifold to my A6 head, and I have an extra coolant port with nowhere to send it to (circled in green):

I cant find where it goes, so I guess I'm going to block it off. I have a rubber vacuum cap that I could put over it with a hose clamp... would that work, or should I try to plug it with RTV first?

First off you need to bypass all coolant out of the throttle body. Heat does not help the performance so route that new coolant line to the back of the block. By passing all of that. :D

Makes sense to me. I'll try to figure it out.
